From 15 June to 15 July, a survey of foreign students studying at Poznań universities will be held. The aim of the research is to collect opinions and reflections on the dynamics of foreign students (often migrants and war refugees) anchoring in Poznań.
The issue of foreign students, or so-called 'new residents', has definitely been in vogue over the last few years, when the streets of Poznań have become filled with people speaking foreign languages and it has become clear that Poznań has become an international and even global city. In connection with this observation, sociology students and fieldwork supervisors want to look at the phenomenon from the perspective of the insiders: foreign-students, migrant-students, war refugees-students. The study is partly practical in nature with the intention of formulating recommendations for university authorities.
