The following criteria for the assessment of the candidates are complementary to § 9 of Resolution No. 403/2019/2020 of the Senate of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan of 24 February 2020.
The recruitment procedure takes into account:
1) the grade from the diploma of second degree studies or master's degree. The grade from the diploma according to the Polish grading scale (2-5) or proportional - in case of another grading scale. The score according to the Polish scale will be multiplied twice. The works will be scored as follows: from grade 3 to 3.5 on the diploma = 0 points; grade 4 on the diploma = 1 point, grade 4.5 = 5 points. The works will be scored as follows: from grade 3 to 3.5 on the diploma = 0 points; grade 4 on the diploma = 1 points, grade 4.5 = 5 points, grade 5 = 10 points.
2) assessment of the candidate's research activities and scientific performance to date on the basis of their CV and cover letter. The candidate(s) shall indicate for evaluation a maximum of three documented research achievements (attached list of achievements). The team will evaluate each of the three scientific achievements and award 0-5 points for each. The evaluation will take into account: scientific publications, participation in conferences, participation in research grants and other achievements indicated by the candidate/applicant as significant.
3) other proven activities of the candidate, based on the maximum of three achievements indicated by the candidate (attached list of achievements). The team will take into account the documented activities consistent with the subject/sector of knowledge interest or involvement in the work of the scientific community (scientific circles, scientific societies, research institutes, research units, etc.). Not more than 5 points will be awarded.
4) the result of the interview, the scope of the interview being: a) the candidate's knowledge 'and competences relevant to the planned research and relevant to the indicated scientific discipline, b) elements of research methodology relevant to the indicated discipline' The team will take into account the points 'a' and 'b' in a maximum ratio of 30 points and 20 points.
5) a research project prepared for the purposes of recruitment, with particular emphasis on: a) the ability to formulate the research objective and present the research problem; b) the research idea and the ability to propose a way to solve the problem; c) methodology appropriate for the indicated discipline; d) knowledge of the state of research together with the basic bibliography. The team will make a qualitative assessment (comparative assessment as a basis for preparing the ranking). The highest scores will be given to projects forming a coherent - whole in the convention of research project description. The document should contain up to 20000 characters with spaces. Not more than 20 points will be awarded.

§ 13 1. the schedule of the recruitment process includes
1) Accepting documents from 27 July to 24 August 2020 until 2.00 pm at the School Office (Collegium Physicum 157/F, Phone 00 48 61 829 5044);
2) the recruitment procedure starts from 7 September to 12 September 2020;
3) announcement of the list of those admitted to the Doctoral School: 18 September 2020. In the case of obtaining funding for the education of doctoral students from external sources, including research projects, recruitment may take place at times other than those specified in paragraph 1.
